SUBJECT: Please join Cambridge PTSA!

August 24, 2020

We hope you all had an amazing summer break!

Dear Cambridge Families,

Welcome back to the 2020-2021 school year! The PTSA is looking forward to a wonderful year! We assure you, whether we are remote (or end up f2f), we are not going to decrease the level of support your membership dollars have afforded.

We are creatively brainstorming various ways (virtual, drive-thru, etc.) to deliver coffee seminars, teacher mini grants, special events and school wide snacks or goodies.

Our seniors will also be celebrated in the style they deserve. The first senior celebration drive-thru took place last Saturday, find some pictures below!

Stay tuned, because it’s going to be a “beary” special year!

All our best,
Cindy King and Malini Doyle
PTSA Co-Presidents

Please join the PTSA!

Go to our new website:

  • We invite you to buy your PTSA Membership. This is the only time we will ask for funding for the year. PTSA initiatives and resources benefit every student.
  • The student directory is now online. You will be granted access when you buy a PTSA membership with access.

The Cambridge community is fortunate to have
great families who believe in our school!

What's happened so far?
Cambridge Bear Hunt

Freshman and new students to Cambridge High School were welcomed with a Bear Hunt drive-thru on August 14! The new students were challenged to find the Cambridge Bear inside them by making frequent stops throughout the school campus and being greeted by the entire faculty. The PTSA passed out waters and highly appropriate gummy bears to make the event extra sweet!

Teacher Breakfast

The PTSA had a super fun morning hosting the "Welcome Back Breakfast On the Go" to CHS employees on August 7! Welcome back signs and beautifully decorated tables greeted the teachers. Chick-fil-A biscuits, fruit, juice and waters were served. The PTSA also continued its tradition of delivering gift cards to all the amazing new employees at Cambridge High School.

Senior Saturday Celebration

Senior Class of 2021 enjoyed a fun drive-thru, grab-and-go breakfast at Cambridge last Saturday morning, August 22! Students decorated their cars and were treated to a Chick-fil-A biscuit, water and a gift from the PTSA.

If your senior was unable to attend the event and did not receive their gift, no worries, we will be passing them out at our next celebration!

Thank you to all of the parent volunteers who helped make the day special. We couldn't do it without you!

Thank you, Angie Buchanan, for these great pictures!
