SUBJECT: Parent Coffee & Directory Opt-Out Deadline

September 30, 2020

Today, Sept. 30, 11:30 am - 12:30 pm

Please join us for our 2nd Parent Coffee and meet Jed Applerouth, Ph.D., to learn about standardized testing in the 2020-2021 school year and how students can best prepare.

The world of standardized testing has changed rapidly in the last few months - spring SAT and ACT test dates were postponed, APs became at-home, open-book exams, and the ACT's move to computer-based testing will soon be here. Many colleges will be "test-optional" for the year, but does that mean students should be opting out of testing altogether? Students need a solid game plan to guide them in this new testing environment.

Please save your spot today. Click Here to Register.

Online Student Directory Opt-out

The PTSA is about to upload Cambridge High School student
information to the online PTSA student directory.
If you DO NOT want your student's information to be shared in the online directory, please email
cambridgeptsavpfinance@gmail.com
with your student(s) names(s) and opt-out.

Deadline is today, September 30, 2020!

About the Student Directory

The information the PTSA receives from FCS (Fulton County Schools) does not include any students who's parents signed a FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act), which parents can enact on a yearly basis.

As a courtesy, the PTSA announces the ability to opt-out of the directory for parents who haven't gone the FERPA route.

The PTSA adds the following data to the directory:

- student's name
- grade
- parent name
- address
- main phone number

Please note that after today, the PTSA will not remove any more student data from the directory. Parents though can buy PTSA membership and use the online parent controls to limit the information that is shared.

This Friday at 6 pm!
