Entrepreneurial Teens - What's so GREAT about them?

Join us as Kellie Taylor from Taylor Street Designs talks about creating opportunities "endeavors" for our teens.

"Is your teenager passionate about something? Are they "obsessed" with something? Are they motivated and tenacious? They might have an entrepreneurial spirit. Does this intrigue you and scare you all at the same time? As an entrepreneur myself and the mom of 2 entrepreneurial teenagers, I am here to help you navigate through this amazing time in your teen's life. And help answer your questions about how you can support them even when you have no idea what the heck they are talking about."

Spotlight

Please support our business partners.

Julie Martin exemplifies and puts into practice the Sotheby’s brand.

“Luxury isn’t a price point. It’s a level of service.”

She goes above and beyond for the clients she helps. It’s easy for the line to be blurred between clients and friends with Julie! Since most of her clientele are relocation clients, she sympathizes with having to move far away often. Julie stays in touch with her past clients long after the ink has dried on the home closing. She understands the necessity of professionalism and the importance of embodying a strong ethical code of respect, honesty and integrity in every aspect of her business.

Exceptional Children's Week

Exceptional Children’s Week was celebrated across Georgia during the first week of March. Fulton County Schools joined in to acknowledge and support our Special Education students. Our Cambridge CBI faculty (Community Based Instruction) planned a week of fun daily dress-up activities.

The Cambridge PTSA honored the CBI faculty by sponsoring coffee, tea, and blueberry crumble from BrewAble. Each CBI staff member also received a BrewAble coffee mug filled with Hershey kisses. In addition, the PTSA funded bead necklaces, glow sticks, beach balls, and other fun party prizes for the "Yes I Can" award ceremony & dance on Friday.

CBI stands for community-based instruction and is intended for students with special needs that would struggle to access a general education program/diploma. For more information, please view the following pdf document:

Many thanks to Kari Minnich and Rebecca Meeker for organizing the treats from BrewAble, and to CHS teacher Wendy Bendit for all the wonderful pictures!

Grab your next coffee at BrewAble!

BrewAble is a nonprofit café located in the Alpharetta Community Center at Will’s Park. It’s a great Alpharetta organization that helps those with special needs have an opportunity to train and have employment. For more information, please visit www.brewablecafe.com.
